🧠 More than 40 Developers Call for Major Bitcoin Upgrade: CTV & CSFS
The Bitcoin technical community is pushing for the adoption of two important opcodes: OP_CHECKTEMPLATEVERIFY (CTV) and OP_CHECKSIGFROMSTACK (CSFS), within the next 6 months.
CTV is said to enable features such as:
• scaling solutions,
• secure vault systems,
• non-custodial mining, and
• network congestion control.
Meanwhile, CSFS, which has been used for 8 years at Blockstream, is said to be crucial for the development of the Lightning Network (LN-symmetry).
This upgrade could be an important moment toward a new evolution of $BTC.
