Deep Tide TechFlow news, on June 9, Tether CEO announced that Tether will open-source its Bitcoin Mining Operating System (MOS), aiming to create a fairer mining environment and narrow the gap between listed companies and small participants. The system uses a peer-to-peer IoT architecture, featuring high scalability and modular characteristics, supporting deployment from a single Raspberry PI to large mining farms monitoring hundreds of thousands of mining machines.

MOS comes with various built-in plugins to monitor and interact with various mining machines, container devices, and electrical equipment. In the future, it will also integrate AI tools to optimize mining performance. Developers can create custom plugins for specific devices and contribute code. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the project is expected to complete its open-source release in Q4 2025, and the team is currently writing documentation and guidelines in preparation for public release.
