World Liberty Financial (#WLFI ) – a financial organization run by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. – has just announced a strategic investment in the meme coin $TRUMP, after canceling plans to launch a controversial cryptocurrency wallet.
This is seen as a “reconciliation” move among cryptocurrency companies related to the Trump family, while reaffirming WLFI's long-term commitment to the digital asset market. Eric Trump emphasized that the investment in $TRUMP is part of a long-term development strategy, aligned with values such as patriotism, Web3 innovation, and financial stability.
The Growing Influence of the Trump Family on the Crypto Market
The Trump family made a start with their NFT collection in 2022, and is now expanding their influence through the meme coin $TRUMP (launched in January 2025), the WLFI DeFi platform, and the stablecoin USD1.
