📌 #TradingPairs101 – What Are Crypto Trading Pairs?
A trading pair lets you exchange one crypto for another. On Binance, BTC/USDT is a popular example. It means you're trading Bitcoin (BTC) against Tether (USDT).
Why do pairs matter?
They determine how you can move between assets. If you want to buy an altcoin, you might need to first trade USDT for BTC or ETH — then use that to buy the altcoin.
There are 3 main types:
🔸 Crypto-to-stablecoin (e.g., ETH/USDT)
🔸 Crypto-to-crypto (e.g., SOL/ETH)
🔸 Fiat-to-crypto (e.g., BTC/EUR)
Understanding trading pairs helps you save fees, avoid extra steps, and trade smarter 💡
