Traditionally they are Centralized... but in the era of DeFi there are also Decentralized Exchanges. These two are also known as CEX and DEX. These two compete each with other: CEXvsDEX. So what are the pros and cons for each of them?🤔

✔ CEX like Binance, Coinbase, Bybit, Bitget, Okx is beginner-friendly, while DEX like Uniswap, PancakeSwap and IDEX needs expertise;

✔while CEX is more convenient, it is more attractive target for hackers, while DEX is more hard target for such an attacks;

✔CEX is highly liquid while DEX can have lower liquidity;

✔CEX has higher platform fees, while DEX has lower fees but gas costs;

✔in comparison with CEX DEX allows to trade directly from crypto wallet, giving full control over own assets and private keys;

✔it is much more easy to restore hacket accaunt on CEX than on DEX.
