The cryptocurrency market has experienced a wave of liquidations over the past 24 hours, totaling approximately $91.45 million, according to data from Coinglass shared by TechFlow. Both long and short positions were heavily impacted, each seeing around $50.01 million in liquidations.
Among major assets, Ethereum (ETH) led the losses with $27.49 million in liquidations, followed by Bitcoin (BTC) at $12.94 million. Notably, ANIME, a trending token, recorded $5.89 million in liquidations.
A total of 46,385 traders were affected during this period. The largest single liquidation occurred on a centralized exchange (CEX) in the ETH-USDT trading pair, amounting to $1.42 million. The spike in liquidations highlights the heightened market volatility and risk currently facing crypto investors.
