#SouthKoreaCryptoPolicy South Korea Allows Non-Profit Organizations and Exchanges to Sell Crypto Assets from Donations Starting June 2025
Starting in June 2025, the Financial Services Commission of South Korea (FSC) will allow non-profit organizations to sell crypto assets obtained from donations. Crypto exchanges will also be able to withdraw service fees paid in the form of digital assets.
As part of this policy, the FSC mandates the implementation of stricter Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures and enhanced Anti-Money Laundering (AML) oversight by exchanges and partner banks.
