Metaplanet wants to own 100,000 BTC by the end of 2026
💰 The Japanese public company Metaplanet has significantly increased its Bitcoin targets. Instead of the previous 21,000 BTC, it now aims to accumulate 100,000 BTC within the next 18 months.

📈 Purchase plan: another 91,112 BTC by the end of 2026
🗓 Long-term goal — to own 210,000 BTC by 2027 and join the '1% Club'
"The world is transitioning to a digital economy. We believe Bitcoin is the strategic asset of the future," said CEO Simon Gerovich.
💸 To purchase coins, the company is expanding its stock issuance: it will add another 555 million securities to the already placed 210 million.
