Metaplanet Capital Strategy Head Shinpei Okuno stated on platform X that preferred stock is an undeveloped area of the capital market in Japan, and there are currently almost no listed preferred stocks in the Japanese capital market (possibly only Ito En, SoftBank, and Infronia).

Shinpei Okuno added that the preferred stock strategy can attract a wide range of investors by offering Bitcoin-backed financial products, and if the preferred stocks under Strategy, such as STRF/STRK/STRD, can be freely traded in the Japanese capital market, it would be beneficial, as the greatest potential of companies adopting a Bitcoin reserve strategy may lie in their ability to create fixed dividend products supported by Bitcoin.
