Trump: Relationship with Musk has ended, not considering repair
U.S. President Trump stated in an interview with NBC on June 7 that his relationship with billionaire Musk has "ended" and that he does not plan to repair their connection. The two were originally allies, with Musk providing financial support during the 2024 election and serving as the head of the newly established "Office of Government Efficiency" in the Trump administration. In May of this year, Musk resigned and publicly criticized Trump's tax reform proposal, leading to a rift between them. Trump warned that if Musk supports a Democratic candidate, he will face "serious consequences," but did not specify any measures. He also stated that he has not considered canceling the government contracts with SpaceX and Starlink.
