Trump begins posting on his platform Truth Social.
He claims that Musk became "exhausted" and that he asked the billionaire to leave the White House. The president also alleges that Musk has "gone CRAZY."
Musk calls the claim an "obvious lie."
"The easiest way to save on our budget," Trump continues in another post, "is to terminate Elon’s Government Contracts and Subsidies."
