Both sides have been spoken by Trump. But listening closely, he is still urging the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates, and then he lightly suggests that if inflation occurs, raising interest rates is enough. This is actually a cover for the potential inflation risks while advocating for rate cuts.
In fact, solving America's inflation problem is not as simple as just switching between raising and lowering interest rates. Does the Federal Reserve not understand this? In the face of high tariff barriers in the U.S., the Federal Reserve's choices will be even more limited, and thus it will be even more cautious.
The current issue is that, whether raising or lowering rates, the U.S. cannot escape a choice between recession and inflation, or even a choice of both.
