#CryptoFees101
Crypto fees, broadly, are the costs associated with buying, selling, exchanging, and transferring cryptocurrencies. These fees can be categorized into trading fees, withdrawal fees, network fees, and margin trading fees. Trading fees are charged by crypto exchanges for executing buy and sell orders, often as a percentage of the trade value. Withdrawal fees are charged when transferring crypto from an exchange to a personal wallet, sometimes fixed or based on network fees. Network fees (also called transaction fees or gas fees) are paid to miners on the blockchain to validate and record transactions. Margin trading fees are interest charges on borrowed capital when using margin trading.
