The wisdom in prohibiting this type of trading is great; it has been forbidden by Islamic law

And it is not acceptable to defy the law; otherwise, the consequences will be catastrophic as happened with James, and surely there were many before him, and unfortunately, there will be many after him. Therefore, we must mention Allah's saying in Surah Adh-Dhariyat ( وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (55) وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ (56) مَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ (57) إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ
الْمَتِينُ) Glory be to Allah the Almighty, for His wisdom is undeniable

As for futures contracts,
Both futures and forward contracts are considered violations of Islamic law, because in these contracts, the delivery of the asset and payment of the price are postponed, which is classified as the sale of debt for debt, and this is prohibited by Islamic law.
