A trading pair shows which asset you are buying and what you are paying for it.

Format: BASE/QUOTE → BTC/USDT = you are buying BTC for USDT.

ETH/BTC — buying ether for bitcoin

The price shows how much quote currency is needed for 1 unit of the base currency

Example:
