#TradingTypes101
Hello, friends! ๐๐
What we know about types of trading:
โScalping or micro-trading:
Scalper traders hold a trading position for a very short time to profit from minor price changes in the asset. A trader makes 10-100 short-term trades a day, gaining small profits, believing that small price changes in the asset are easier to catch than large ones. Scalping is one of the most complex types of trading in the stock market;
โ(Intra)day trading:
trader buys and sells the same coin during the trading day, holding no assets at the end of the trading day. This is the most well-known form of active trading;
โSwing trading:
aims to profit from short-term and intermediate price changes. A trader usually buys a coin and holds it for several days/weeks to take advantage of short-term patterns: convenient for those who cannot constantly monitor the market like day traders;
โPositional trading:
taking a position in the market and holding it for months or even years. This type of trading is similar to swing trading but with a longer time horizon.
