🔐 In crypto, security is not a technical issue. It is a matter of survival.
🧊 Cold wallets are offline storage, inaccessible to hackers. Ideal for long-term assets.
🔥 Hot wallets are convenient for daily transactions but vulnerable to attacks.
💼 I use a combination:
• Cold wallet — for the main portfolio (via hardware wallet),
• Hot wallet — for trading and interacting with DeFi, but only with a small balance.
🔑 What works for me:
1️⃣ Never store seed phrases online. Paper + physical safe.
2️⃣ Use multi-sig or 2FA where possible.
3️⃣ Regularly check permissions in the wallet and revoke unnecessary ones.
📣 Advice for beginners: do not trust platforms without a reputation. If you do not control the private keys — you do not control the assets.
In Web3, you are your own bank. Act accordingly.
