Musk angrily criticizes the 'Big and Beautiful' bill, revealing cracks in Trump's team

Recently, Elon Musk, who just left his position as head of the U.S. government's 'Efficiency Department', rarely took to social media to slam the Trump administration, calling its promoted 'Big and Beautiful' bill 'disgusting', fundamentally a 'rob from the poor to give to the rich', cutting public healthcare, reducing taxes for the wealthy, and accelerating fiscal collapse. He bluntly stated that politicians who support the bill 'should feel ashamed'.

According to U.S. media reports, Musk's anger stems from four main reasons:

1. Interests harmed: The bill cuts subsidies for electric vehicles, directly impacting Tesla's performance.

2. Left out: Musk had hoped to continue serving as a 'government special employee', but was 'used and discarded' by the White House.

3. Starlink plan obstructed: Musk proposed incorporating Starlink into the U.S. air traffic control system, which was rejected by the Federal Aviation Administration.

4. Allies purged: Musk's business ally Jared Isaacman, who was initially nominated to lead NASA, had his nomination withdrawn by the White House.

This is not the first time Musk has split from the Trump administration. Previously, he clashed with Treasury Secretary Mnuchin over personnel arrangements. This time, Musk directly fired at Trump, with their relationship going from close collaboration to open conflict in just 128 days.

More notably, Musk had previously provided significant support to Trump's camp, pledging to donate around $300 million and planning a series of campaign activities, being called 'one of the largest individual donors in American history'. After being 'appointed' to oversee budget reform, Musk exposed issues of government corruption and redundancy.

However, the 'Big and Beautiful' bill promoted by Trump not only failed to achieve its goal of reducing burdens but is expected to result in a $3.8 trillion fiscal deficit over the next decade.
