Tech billionaire Elon Musk stated that President Donald Trump would lose the election without his support and suggested forming a new political party to represent the majority of the American people.

Russian state channel RT reported on June 6 that the confrontation between tech billionaire Elon Musk and U.S. President Donald Trump over federal tax and spending legislation escalated into a series of public attacks on social media on Thursday (June 5).
Billionaire Musk accused the U.S. President of being “ungrateful,” while Trump said the former “reform czar” had become “insane.”

In this context, conservative blogger Ian Miles Cheong tweeted on X: “The president is facing off against Elon. Who will win? I bet on Elon. Trump should be impeached and JD Vance should replace him.”
“Yes,” billionaire Musk replied.
Earlier, billionaire Musk claimed that “Without me, Trump would have lost the election, the Democrats would control the House of Representatives, and the Republicans would only have 51–49 seats in the Senate... How ungrateful.”
Billionaire Musk also conducted a poll with his 220 million followers: “Is it time to form a new political party in America to truly represent the 80% of people in the middle?”
Within four hours, nearly three million users participated in the poll, with about 81% choosing ‘Agree’.
For his part, President Trump stated he was “very disappointed” with billionaire Musk and asserted that the Tesla CEO’s opposition to his “Big Beautiful Bill” was due to cuts to tax credits for electric vehicles.
