🧠 #TradingPairs101

Let’s break it down: What exactly is a trading pair?

A trading pair lets you exchange one asset for another on a crypto exchange. Think of it like a currency converter — but for digital assets.

🔄 Example:

BTC/USDT means you're trading Bitcoin against Tether.

Buying BTC/USDT = Spending USDT to get BTC

Selling BTC/USDT = Giving BTC to receive USDT

There are 2 types of pairs:

1. Crypto-to-Stable (e.g. ETH/USDT, BNB/BUSD) – for hedging and less volatility.

2. Crypto-to-Crypto (e.g. ETH/BTC, SOL/BNB) – for flipping between coins and tracking strength between assets.

💡 Why it matters:

Understanding trading pairs helps you:

Pick the right entry/exit route

Avoid unnecessary conversions (and fees)

Ride the trends between assets

🧭 Next time you trade, check the pair — it might just give you an edge.
