What we originally aimed to build was a decentralized internet

But it has turned into a Web3 football league

@solana is wearing blue, @Polkadot is wearing pink, and @ethereum is the veteran champion team.

Founders, like head coaches, cannot show weakness and cannot 'collude with the enemy team'

Even if it's just a desire to collaborate, the community may see it as betrayal

But in the end, this is not about competition; it's a technical issue—one that can be resolved.

Solution? @gavofyork believes one possible way is:

✅ Decouple the network from tokens

✅ Or allow all tokens to freely swap within a unified protocol, retaining identity but being usable

✅ Enable 'currency baskets' to settle automatically, allowing users to freely traverse 'sovereign chains'

Web3 cannot remain trapped in tribalism forever

If we can't even collaborate on basic protocols, how can we talk about building the future together?

Gavin's lengthy 3-hour interview is about to be released! Stay tuned!
