Polkadot 2.0 is about to launch, community members @alice_und_bob proposed to start a global Launch Party event!
With the gradual launch of the three core features: Agile Coretime, Async Backing, and Elastic Scaling, Polkadot 2.0 is set to officially release, marking the transition of the network from infrastructure construction to the application ecosystem stage.
Core contributors Alice and Bob initiated the "Polkadot 2.0 Global Launch Party" proposal, planning to organize a month-long hackathon, offline gatherings, and online promotion activities, inviting developers to use tools like Substrate, ink!, PAPI, etc., to build highly usable and clearly defined Web3 applications, promoting the ecosystem from technical experimentation to real adoption.
This event is not just a celebration, but also a "phased farewell," as well as a collective mindset shift towards a new vision: Polkadot Cloud, Polkadot Hub, and the new era of truly implemented Web3 applications.
