Most "web3 games" are just traditional games but with tokens. Nothing wrong with that but I do think the category name isn't fully accurate. The real web3 games to me are memecoins, pumpfun, $LOUD, etc. These are money games that blend capital markets, social mechanics and attention loops. So if we reframe memecoins as games, the question becomes: how do we make them more fun, fair, and less extractive? That’s where the innovation is headed.

I like Loudio (don’t have any tokens). Because it’s important to me that we experiment within web3. That’s how novel things are born. Or it “fails”, but a small nugget inspires a future success. At the same time we also gotta be loud outside of web3. That’s also how we grow the space. This belief is why I’ve pushed Azuki to do some nerd stuff like working w flashbots on TEE apps ie Bobu magic show. And at the same time, why I’m excited to be on stage at the largest convention in LA to talk about anime 2.0
