Most "web3 games" are just traditional games but with tokens. Nothing wrong with that but I do think the category name isn't fully accurate.

The real web3 games to me are memecoins, pumpfun, $LOUD, etc.

These are money games that blend capital markets, social mechanics and attention loops.

So if we reframe memecoins as games, the question becomes: how do we make them more fun, fair, and less extractive?

That’s where the innovation is headed.
