In 2021 everything was simple:
📈 BTC makes a new ATH — altcoins are breaking loose.
People bought frogs on Binance and became millionaires.
Currently… it's already June 2025, and altcoins seem to be at a minimum. Why?
---
🐌 Altseason 2025 is late. Reasons:
1. Bitcoin doesn't let others breathe
In 2021 BTC shot up — and gave the market a breather.
And right now it's growing like a locomotive on steroids. People just can't keep up transferring profits into altcoins because they're afraid to miss 'another x' on BTC.
2. Institutions don't like frogs
BlackRock is not buying PEPE.
ETFs are pouring capital into BTC and $ETH , not into your secret 'potential coin'.
Institutional capital is not 'grandpas from CT', it is following a well-trodden path.
3. Altcoins have not yet 'washed out' weak hands
A real altseason starts when everyone is disillusioned and has sold everything for a pack of bull rolls.
And meanwhile, many are still holding and waiting for 'any moment now'.
So, it's not time yet.

🤷♂️ Will there even be one?
❓ Yes, most likely there will be. But:
will last less (1–2 months of the spectacle — and goodbye);
fewer "newbies" will be able to get in on time;
fewer stupid altcoins will grow for no reason.
Because now is the time for strong projects, not for 'dog meme' tokens.
---
🥇 Who will shoot first?
ETH — because it's the leader.
L2s (Arbitrum $ARB , Base, StarkNet $STRK ) — because everyone ran there.
AI themes — the hype is still alive.
GameFi — only if it decides to come back.
---
🐢 Who will be last?
NFT garbage;
2021 tokens that are no longer of interest to anyone;
eternal promises without a product.
---
📅 So when?
🧠 Historically: Altseason started 1–3 months after the BTC peak.
If we're somewhere near the peak or already in the final stretch for BTC — then altcoins might rise in the summer or fall.
But only if you don't sell them two days before the start, as always happens.
---
📌 Conclusion: Altseason has not been canceled. It's just that this time it's like that minibus — it's late, but it will definitely arrive when you've already started walking.
