Ross Ulbricht received a donation of 300 #BTC 🥇🖐
Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the darknet market Silk Road, received an anonymous donation of 300 BTC ($31.4 million). According to #Coinbase , he previously had around 430 BTC in his accounts.
It is worth noting that Ulbricht spent 12 years in prison and was pardoned by Donald Trump in January of this year.
After his release, he put 13 personal items up for auction - from prison IDs and paintings to clothing. The leading item is an ID card with his photo, for which a bid of 5.5 BTC ($574,000) was made. The total amount of bids is approaching $1.3 million.
