Elon Musk Launches XChat, New Feature with Bitcoin-Style Security
Elon Musk announced the launch of a new feature called XChat on the social media platform X. This feature is equipped with a Bitcoin (BTC)-style encryption system, self-destructing messages, and support for sending various types of files.
Musk explained that XChat is built with a new architecture using the Rust programming language.
“The latest version of XChat comes with encryption, disappearing messages, send any file, and voice and video calls,” Musk wrote in his post on Monday (02/05).
He also added that users can now make video and voice calls without having to use a mobile number. This innovation is touted as a significant step in the development of a more secure and flexible communication platform.
