This is a VERY SIGNIFICANT event: the death knell tolls for the Dollar empire. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Elon leaves with this mysterious phrase, an admission of defeat:

"Only radical productivity can save us."

Explanations in this thread! ๐Ÿ‘‡

Musk doesn't want to upset the Trump administration, but what is he saying?

The fiscal collapse is already a done deal. The political solution is unrealistic, and the technological solution is contingent.

One lifeline remains, which Musk religiously refrains from mentioning...

Moody's has just downgraded US debt from AAA to AA1... and we know that rating agencies are always one step behind.

For the record, France is now AA3. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚

In short, Musk has realized: nothing will stop the spiraling debt train.

Congress ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ just added $2.5 trillion in additional debt for the next decade...

They probably won't touch social security or the defense budget.

The latter is likely to explode given the wars that are brewing...

...in the name of defending peace, stability, and freedom, of course. ๐Ÿคก

And it's not the corrupt and lethargic European Union that's going to challenge Uncle Sam and his military-industrial complex.

Musk's phrase indicates a shift in the narrative:

Trying to reduce spending is a lost cause... all we have left is to run the printing press at full speed and hope that growth outpaces debt.

And he doesn't seem very convinced...

Growth will not be enough.

The problem is structural: interest rates are piling up, inflation is fattening the billionaires and destroying the real economy.

According to Saifedean Ammous' optimistic model, even stablecoins will not be able to stem hyperinflation.

Lyn Alden: "Nothing can stop this train."

And post-COVID debt management almost makes pre-COVID policy seem like a moderate and prudent approach.

Since 2008, increases in debt and the money supply have accelerated... while confidence is plummeting.

Satoshi and the cypherpunks presciently predicted this impasse years ago. The time of impact is approaching, and we'd better prepare for it. #bitcoin #GOLD
