Coinshares Weekly Report: Last week, the global digital asset fund flows have been disclosed
Last week, the digital asset market remained active, with total inflows reaching $286 million. This marks the seventh consecutive week of net inflows in the global asset market, totaling $10.9 billion.
Among them, the dominant force in the market remains the United States, with an inflow of $199 million last week. Meanwhile, Germany and Australia also performed well, with inflows of $42.9 million and $21.5 million, respectively.
Notably, Hong Kong had a remarkable inflow of $54.8 million last week, marking the strongest single-week performance since the launch of exchange-traded products. However, Switzerland saw an outflow of $32.8 million, making it one of the few countries with net outflows this week.
At the same time, among other major digital assets besides Bitcoin, Ethereum's performance last week was particularly eye-catching, with inflows reaching $321 million, the best six-week performance since December 2024, indicating a significant resurgence in Ethereum's market popularity.
In contrast, Bitcoin's performance last week was somewhat volatile. Although inflows remained strong at the beginning of the week, a reversal occurred mid-week due to a New York court ruling declaring U.S. tariffs illegal, resulting in an outflow of $8 million by the end of last week, ending six consecutive weeks of net inflows.
Meanwhile, despite continuous market inflows, market volatility has intensified due to uncertainties surrounding U.S. tariffs, causing total assets under management to drop from a historical high of $187 billion to $177 billion by the weekend. This volatility also reflects investors' cautious attitude towards the future trends of the market.
However, in the long run, the overall trend of the digital asset market remains positive, especially with the strong performance of major digital assets like Ethereum, injecting more confidence and vitality into the market.
