🟠TREASURY YIELDS EDGE UP AS CHINA ACCUSES U.S. OF TRADE AGREEMENT VIOLATION

U.S. Treasury yields climbed after China responded to what it called U.S. breaches of a Geneva trade agreement.

As of 5 a.m. ET

🟠The 10-year Treasury yield rose by more than 2 basis points, reaching 4.445%.

🟠The 2-year yield gained slightly, up less than one basis point at 3.922%.

🟠The 30-year Treasury yield increased by more than 4 basis points to 4.981%.

A single basis point equals 0.01%. Note that yields and bond prices move inversely.
