Well first off he's not buying them he's creating them, he even tells everyone he is about to buy so folks try to frontrun him. Perps traders open longs and he buys into them trying to force the price higher at any cost

He makes a spectacle of his buying to literally pay a higher premium on his Bitcoin and push the price a bit higher

The Michael Saylor of ETH won't have to resort to such tactics because they will be earning yield regardless of the price
