Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) is celebrating a major win: the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has officially dismissed its lawsuit against him and Binance — with prejudice, meaning the case cannot be reopened.
✍️ CZ responded on social media with a jab at former SEC Chair Gary Gensler, posting a photo of him with a red clown nose and the caption: “Crypto is still here.”
🙌 Binance also thanked the new SEC leadership and the Trump administration for taking a step toward regulation without excessive crackdowns.
📌 Previously, the SEC had accused Binance of offering unregistered securities, allowing U.S. users on its platform, and commingling customer funds.
