On May 30, PANews reported that Amboss, a Bitcoin Lightning Network service provider, has launched a self-custody yield product called Rails, allowing users to earn returns by providing liquidity. The product includes two plans: Rails LP aimed at enterprises and high-net-worth individuals (minimum 1BTC locked for 1 year), and a liquidity subscription service suitable for Bitcoin payment merchants (starting fee rate of 0.5%). The sources of returns include payment routing and liquidity leasing, but there is no guaranteed minimum return.
