Japanese investment company Metaplanet (3350) has just announced the issuance of 0% interest bonds worth 50 million USD to buy more Bitcoin, continuing its ambitious BTC accumulation strategy!
The entire amount raised from EVO Fund, the sole investor, will be used to increase Bitcoin reserves, which have now reached 7,800 BTC (valued at ~850 million USD) after the purchase of 1,004 BTC worth 104.3 million USD on May 19.

The zero-interest bond, with a face value of 1.25 million USD, matures on November 27, 2025.
Metaplanet aims to own 10,000 BTC by the end of 2025, solidifying its position as the largest Bitcoin holder in Asia.
Metaplanet's stock rose 15% to 1,116 JPY after the announcement, reflecting strong market confidence.
