The current situation of altcoins that reached ATH when Bitcoin was at 50-60K in 2021 is unfortunately like this. Most are down over 80%.
I'm not even talking about new projects with supply issues; let's examine the example of $CHZ.
It has formed a channel that has steadily declined over the past 4 years. My expectation is that it will touch the upper band of this channel by the end of the year, which would correspond to a 2-3X increase from the current level.
The real event would be if it breaks this channel and starts moving towards the 2021 ATH. Frankly, I don’t have such an expectation. I think most coins will not reach the 2021 ATH, just as most coins did not reach the 2017 ATH during the 2021 bull run; the situation is similar here.
However, if you ask whether these prices are closer to dropping 50% from the current level or rising, I would say rising.
