InfoFI is great and has changed the landscape
But, there’s some downsides to creatives while getting “free money”
Nothings free there’s always a hidden cost
Some creators are relentlessly shilling tickers and anything related to the pre-tge brands
Which is fine expect there’s some dilution of worth in my opinion
We have all read the spreadsheets of what some of you charge to make 1 tweet. Multiple thousands if not tens of thousands
So for one tweet you charge a range of 3-10k and you expect to get that same amount airdropped as kickback
I don’t know if that’s all that likely to happen for a single piece of content
Feel likes a haircut doesn’t it?
Full on display that your “fee” is actually worth less than what they were presented to be based on public actions
Also, it shows some of you can be bought by little to no amount of money that’s dangled infront of your face
What you should do: (if you’re a decent sized creative)
Double dip and pitch the teams on pre-tge for compensation to even make the tweet then claim rewards from the airdrop for yapping
Frame it as the cost of doing business to make the tweet itself. Plus then getting airdrop rewards on the back end
Why would you settle for a smaller amount when you can win twice as much by playing the same game?
Don’t just accept the norm of being rewarded “by interpretation” because everyone else is. Most people are dumb anyways
Double dip because you can - you have brand equity that’s worth something
If teams refuse to compensate you: that’s fine their loss and still don’t make the tweet or content
Imagine spending all that money for the best creatives to not give a shit lol
Sure you missed out on some money but they really ate it. Their opportunity cost is greater than yours remember that
Aka their downside is great and you control over it
Don’t lower standards because the offer is easier to accept not because it’s better
Btw the smart creatives that are business savvy have probably already been doing this silently
While the rest of you post slop on the timeline and look like npc’s
