Virtual @virtuals_io has made significant adjustments to the points rules; the era of tweeting for points has ended. Below are the latest strategies for earning points.
Looking back over the past 4 days, the Virtual points have been 100 million points daily. However, this is not the focus, as regardless of the number of points, the points and Virtual tokens each project can accommodate are limited.
The key is to look at the composition of these 100 million points. As of May 26, Virtual officially announced the following:
1. Stake $Vader, with a score share of 5%.
2. veVirtual staking, accounting for 20%, this has not changed.
3. Yapping points, which are obtained by tweeting, only account for 2%. 100 million points yield only 2 million for tweeting. From this perspective, Virtual is moving away from KOLs. Previously, projects required KOLs to tweet and promote during the cold start. Now that the project has gained traction, it turns around and kicks KOLs out, a clever way to offload burdens.
4. Maximum share, daily activity rewards, accounting for 73%. Daily activities refer to staking tokens and trading platform tokens.
The adjustments made by Virtual are not difficult to understand from a profit perspective. Initially, they spent money on KOLs for promotions. Now, since that is no longer needed, the platform relies on trades to earn transaction fees and gain profits. Those who stake and trade more will earn more points, while Virtual will earn even more.
Based on the latest rules, the response strategy is quite simple. I've discussed this strategy in previous writings.
1. Whenever there is a new project, participate regardless of success or failure.
2. When a new project launches, you must buy in, even if it’s just 10 U; this is the most important.
3. New projects will generally pump, and after the pump, sell your principal and stake the remaining profits.
4. Tokens returned from new investments should not be sold in small amounts during the early stages; all should be staked.
5. The tokens airdropped on the Virtual platform should not be sold, but staked instead.
If you follow the above 5 points, the Virtual points framework will increase. If you don’t believe it, give a thumbs up first.
Final question: When should we sell tokens? The answer can be found in the comments.
