I didn't expect zkLink to move so quickly recently.

First, the mainnet zkLink Nova went live, and then they released a roadmap that lays out the general direction for the next two years.

In simple terms, zkLink aims to be more than just a simple cross-chain tool; it wants to create a cross-chain trading network operated by AI agents—where you don’t need to choose routes, switch chains, or compare prices yourself. The underlying protocol will automatically handle these tasks, allowing you to focus solely on the trading outcome.

From a narrative perspective, this is somewhat different from most projects that are still dealing with "how to make bridges faster."

zkLink seems to have directly restructured the trading process, handing the entire on-chain operational experience over to the AI protocol for optimization.

According to their new roadmap:

In 2025, they plan to complete the protocol white paper, PoC testing, open-source communication protocols, and begin collaborating with mainstream public chains;

In 2026, they will enter the Alpha and Beta testing stages, while also promoting developer participation and protocol economic design.

Although the functionalities haven’t been fully disclosed yet, from the structure, this architecture will likely support the entire multi-module applications of zkLink in the future.

$ZKL has already been listed on several exchanges like Bybit, Gate, Bitget, Hashkey Global, and Coinone,

with a market cap that isn't very high. However, due to the broad scope of the protocol design, it may not be easy to hype the narrative in the short term, possibly leading to a slow-burn rhythm.

Currently, it seems that the first step of this AI agent system is to enable users to achieve true automation logic in cross-chain trading.

The next key point to observe will be whether it can smoothly integrate with mainstream public chains and whether the developer ecosystem can be activated.

Such protocol-level infrastructure won’t see explosive growth immediately,

but if the underlying system functions well, its impact on the entire multi-chain trading system will be structural.

You might want to add it to your watchlist for a while.
