The creator of ETH proposes using the Ethereum blockchain as a backup system in case of failures in traditional infrastructure. He refers to the experience of northern countries, where the abandonment of cash made centralized payment systems vulnerable. In such conditions, decentralization becomes not just a trendy idea but a necessity.
