Genesis Update: TP Cooldown History Now Live Wallets under TP Cooldown can now view cooldown history directly in Virtuals Protocol by clicking on their TP Cooldown status. You’ll be able to see: 1. Which agent sale triggered the cooldown 2. When the cooldown began This update provides clearer context around point suppression and helps Virgens understand the reason behind their cooldown status. We’ll keep refining Genesis to make it as fair, transparent, and intuitive as possible.

Genesis Update: Points Distributed and Dust-Level Cooldown Adjustment 1. Daily points have been distributed for May 27, 2025. Thank you for your patience. 2. TP Cooldown Adjustment for Dust-Level Sells: We identified a small number of edge cases where wallets unintentionally sold a negligible amount, without any intent to manipulate or exploit the system, but were still placed under TP Cooldown. To prevent disproportionate penalties, TP cooldowns for these wallets have been lifted and a small one-time compensation will be issued. No action is required. We’re always listening, reviewing feedback, and doing our best to make adjustments that are fair and transparent. Genesis Update: Holding Is Over. Agent Staking Is Now Live. The era of passive holding is ending. Staking is now the standard for earning points in the Virtuals ecosystem. Switch Over Period Ends Thursday, May 22 at 3 PM GMT+8: Agent staking is live. You now have until Thursday, May 22 at 3 PM GMT+8 to move your agent tokens into staking contracts. After that, only staked agent tokens will be eligible to earn points. Eligible contracts include: - Virtuals-issued staking contracts - Whitelisted contracts with a 14-day unstaking cooldown We’ll confirm publicly once staking-only eligibility goes into effect. Staking Contracts Are Rolling Out Today: We’ve identified approximately 70 projects (from both Genesis and Standard launches) that are going live with staking contracts today. Virgens can now stake their agent tokens and begin earning points. If your project launched but doesn’t yet have staking: - Reach out to us - We’ll support getting your staking contract live. You can view the full list of eligible agents with staking enabled on the Points page. Enforcement Rules: - After May 22 at 3 PM GMT+8, only staked agent tokens will earn points - Whitelisted contracts must include a 14-day unstaking cooldown - Projects with custom contracts have 2 weeks to migrate or adjust to meet staking requirements We’re scaling trust, aligning rewards with commitment, and closing passive farming gaps.
