24 years old, made 2 million through cryptocurrency trading, almost lost my life
I never expected that someone like me could actually earn hundreds of thousands or even millions through cryptocurrency trading.
At that time, I had just entered the scene, knew nothing, and listened to friends who were saying things like "Bitcoin can skyrocket." At first, I didn't believe it, but later I was too bored and decided to try it out by putting in two thousand yuan. As a result, within a few days, it doubled.
My mind was buzzing, and I thought—wow, maybe this is indeed a way to make money.
Then I started to study, watching the market every day, pretending to be a normal person during the day, and sitting in front of the computer like a gorilla at night, staring at the K-line.
I didn't earn much at first, but the more I played, the smoother it became, and my confidence grew. I started trading contracts and buying altcoins, daring to engage with "meme coins" and "dog coins." At the peak, I could earn several thousand in a day, and my account once soared to over 2 million.
At that time, I got carried away, really carried away, and didn't even want to go to work anymore. I fantasized every day about retiring at thirty, taking my parents abroad to play, and driving a Tesla to a café to watch the market...
And what happened? I was slapped back to reality.
When altcoins drop, they truly don't hold back; a day of halving is considered gentle. The day before, I was thinking about reaching 5 million, and the next day my account was so red I didn't dare to open it.
Then I started to add more positions, hold onto losing trades, and wait for a rebound, but the more I added, the more I lost, directly digging my own grave. All the money I made was returned, and I also incurred a lot of interest and emotional loss.
Looking back now, I realize I was too young and too greedy at that time.
Is making money hard? Actually, it's not hard at all. The hard part is, once you've earned it, can you resist the temptation to be greedy.
Now I am much clearer-headed. Although my account is down to a little, at least I know how to survive. I no longer trade contracts recklessly; I only deal with major coins and only take on risks I can accept.
Before, I earned quickly, and now I lose quickly; in the future, I need to be steadier and slower, after all—life is more important than opportunities, and being alive is necessary for a comeback.
Having experienced the rain, I want to help newcomers; feel free to reach out for exchanges
