Semler Scientific buys additional $50M in Bitcoin

#SemlerScientific has purchased $50 million worth of Bitcoin between May 13 and May 22, acquiring 455 $BTC at an average price of $109,801. The move brings the total market value of the company's #Bitcoin holdings to approximately $474.4 million. The company funded the purchase through proceeds from an at-the-market stock offering, raising about $115 million from selling around 3 million shares. Despite the Bitcoin acquisition, Semler’s stock dropped 1.36% on May 23, mirroring the broader Nasdaq decline.
