The 212th Ethereum ACDC Meeting: Fusaka Devnet-0 will launch on May 26
According to Hashi Chain news and Tim Beiko's summary of the 212th Ethereum Core Developer Meeting (ACDE), the main topics discussed were the launch of Fusaka Devnet-0 on May 26, and discussions on the Fusaka EIP framework. Specific EIP proposals include: EIP-7825 which caps transaction gas at 30 M; and EIP-7918 which anchors blob fees to Base Fee to alleviate fee volatility. These two proposals will be included in the Devnet-1 testing. In terms of testnet strategy, it is planned to first fork Sepolia and keep Hoodi for application testing while encouraging the community to maintain a long-term operational testnet. The upcoming CL conference call will make a decision on EIP-7917, and the next ACDE conference call (in two weeks) will finalize the scope of Devnet-2 and review updates on EIPs 7212, 7934, 7907, and 5920. Once the scope of Fusaka is finalized, discussions in Glamsterdam will begin.
