Overthinking about people other than yourself will drain your energy, and you will always feel wronged. If you spend a second longer thinking about how unfairly you are treated by your parents, your leaders, or others, you will feel an overwhelming sense of anger and grievance because you have placed them on a pedestal and diminished yourself. The underlying logic of this situation is that you must rely on others to grant you so-called fairness, love, and resources for you to feel treated well. Those with a subjective mindset think differently; they do not overanalyze why others treat them this way. They do not dwell on grievances but instead focus on what they can do in the moment that maximizes their own benefit, defending their own desires and capabilities – this is subjectivity. When you adopt a subjective mindset, you become more rational, considering all opportunities, resources, and methods available to you. You will generate energy because defending your own subjectivity allows you to continuously create positive energy for yourself. Even if the outcome is not what you wished, the strength of this starting point is infinite. Therefore, where your attention is, your energy flows. If you focus on yourself, you nourish yourself; if you focus on others, you lose energy. Be aware: whoever you pay attention to, you are giving energy to them. Especially when encountering NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) thinking, it is like opening a pipeline, continuously supplying them with energy. We all know we must take responsibility for ourselves. When it comes to self-responsibility, many think it means studying, competing, or working. In fact, taking responsibility for yourself means acquiring the ability to make yourself happy and to love yourself properly. This gap began in your childhood, and we need to use our adult awareness to close it. Even if you occasionally struggle with self-pity, maintaining awareness will instantly bring you back. Do not focus on or analyze why others treat you this way. Once you become aware of such thinking, cut it off immediately. Do not analyze others; just think about how they treat you and how you feel about it. Under the current circumstances, how can you create better opportunities for yourself? Whatever you focus on will determine your energy. If you focus on yourself, you will become more rational and naturally do many things that benefit you and nourish yourself. In life, we encounter those who may seem like obstacles but are also opportunities. We must continuously learn to shift our attention back to ourselves when giving it to others. Each day, we need to nourish ourselves.
