The Art of War is a very interesting book.

You might think it's teaching you how to 'fight', but in reality, it talks throughout about how to 'not fight'.

It first explains that war is very dangerous, and you shouldn't start a war casually. Even if you do go to war, you need to calculate the costs and the chances of victory; if you can avoid fighting, you should.

Winning every battle means you're not far from the destruction of your country.

Because war incurs losses and costs; if you're always at war, it means you haven't resolved the fundamental issues.

Think about it: isn't trading the same way?
