Kyiv Hit by Wave of Geranium-2 Kamikaze Drones in Overnight Attack

Kyiv came under heavy assault overnight as dozens of Geranium-2 (Shahed-136) kamikaze drones, accompanied by ballistic missiles, struck multiple districts across the city. Despite robust efforts by Ukrainian air defenses, explosions were reported in Solomianskyi, Obolon, Shevchenkivskyi, and several other neighborhoods, forcing residents to take shelter underground.

The attack sparked fires and caused injuries, with six individuals requiring medical treatment. Structural damage from falling drone debris was also reported.
