Jesse Myers, head of Bitcoin strategy at Moon Inc., stated that Bitcoin holders underestimate the amount of Bitcoin companies will accumulate by 2045.
“In the future, reserve companies will hold 50% of BTC, far exceeding the expectations of most Bitcoin holders,” Myers wrote on X on May 23.
Myers predicts that by 2045, strategic companies will hold Bitcoin worth $70 trillion.
Myers further predicts that Michael Saylor's strategic company will hold Bitcoin worth $70 trillion, becoming the most valuable company in history. Currently, the strategic company holds 576,320 Bitcoins, valued at approximately $62.24 billion, according to Saylor Tracker data.
Myers said that the global asset value is currently around $1 quadrillion, of which Bitcoin accounts for only 0.2%. He pointed out that as global capital seeks the best value storage, this capital will gradually 'leak' into Bitcoin.
“The trend of exiting fiat assets (such as bonds and currencies) has begun in the past two years. Hard currency assets (like Bitcoin and gold) are becoming the new choice,” he stated.
Myers stated that approximately $318 trillion in capital is seeking a 'better place,' while most funds are locked in strictly regulated fixed-income instruments.
“This is where the role of Bitcoin reserve companies comes in,” Myers said.
“In the coming decades, reserve companies will become the main buyers of BTC, injecting massive value storage capital.”
Although strategic companies have begun accumulating Bitcoin since 2020, other reserve companies are also emerging.
On April 24, Twenty One Capital was established, a Bitcoin reserve company led by Strike founder Jack Mallers, supported by Tether, SoftBank, and Cantor Fitzgerald. The company aims to become the best tool for investors seeking efficient Bitcoin investments.
According to Bitbo data, public companies, private enterprises, ETFs, and countries collectively hold 3.23 million Bitcoins, worth approximately $348.25 billion.
