At the beginning of tonight (May 23), the cryptocurrency market recorded declines in all three major coins.
Bitcoin (BTC): down about 1.3%, currently trading around $109,484, after reaching a daily peak of $111,819.
Ethereum (ETH): down more than 3%, currently at $2,577, with a daily low of $2,539.
BNB (Binance Coin): down nearly 1.9%, currently at $672, after hitting a daily low of $663.
This adjustment comes after Bitcoin reached a new all-time high on May 22, surpassing the $111,000 mark. However, factors such as concerns over former President Trump's new tariff policies and the possibility of postponing interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve have made market sentiment more cautious. This could be a short-term correction following the recent strong rally, but it also reflects the market's sensitivity to macroeconomic factors.
