Bitcoin ETFs experienced substantial capital movement on May 22, with a total daily net inflow of $934.74 million. The largest transaction came from BlackRock’s IBIT, which purchased 8,000 BTC worth $877.2 million. This marks the highest daily inflow for IBIT in May, raising its cumulative net inflow to $47.55 billion. IBIT now manages $72.69 billion in assets and commands 3.29% of the total Bitcoin market share among ETFs.

Daily Inflows Push Cumulative Market Totals Higher

According to SoSoValue, the overall market saw significant gains, as cumulative total net inflows across all Bitcoin ETFs reached $44.31 billion. These funds collectively manage $134.30 billion in assets, accounting for 6.09% of Bitcoin’s total market capitalization. The total value traded for the day was $5.39 billion, showing strong market participation.

Fidelity’s FBTC followed IBIT with a $48.66 million daily net inflow, bringing its cumulative inflow to $11.88 billion. FBTC currently holds $22.38 billion in assets. Meanwhile, ARKB recorded $8.90 million in inflows, pushing its cumulative net inflow to $2.80 billion and assets to $5.50 billion.

Mixed Performance Across Major Bitcoin ETFs

Grayscale’s GBTC reported no inflow for the day, while its cumulative net outflow remained at $22.99 billion. The fund still maintains $20.89 billion in assets and holds a 0.95% share of the market. Grayscale’s other ETF, BTC, also showed no inflows and holds $4.82 billion in net assets with a total net inflow of $1.38 billion.  Bitwise’s BITB held steady with no inflow, keeping $4.31 billion in assets. Its cumulative inflow stands at $2.06 billion. 

VanEck’s HODL, one of the smallest funds by assets at $1.66 billion, has accumulated $912.70 million in total inflows. Valkyrie’s BRRR managed $681.67 million in assets, supported by $328.06 million in cumulative inflows. It recorded a daily trading volume of 108.39K shares.  Invesco’s BTCO ETF holds $593.26 million in net assets, with $106.16 million in total inflows. 

Every ETF listed posted gains between +2.27% and +2.41%, indicating upward price movement.  Franklin’s EZBC recorded $251.47 million in inflows to date and holds $568.60 million in assets. WisdomTree’s BTCW holds $172.65 million, with a cumulative inflow of $37.53 million. IBIT led all ETFs in trading volume, moving 66.55 million shares worth $4.21 billion. GBTC followed with $254.26 million traded, despite no daily inflow, showing active secondary market participation.
