It is reported that Maxine Waters and 14 other Democratic co-sponsors introduced the (Stop Trading, Retention, and Unfair Market Payoffs in Crypto Act of 2025) on Thursday afternoon. The bill aims to prohibit the President, Vice President, members of Congress, and their immediate family members from 'holding a proportion of digital assets that would allow them to unilaterally alter those digital assets,' along with other related provisions.
